We have been going to Rookies for several years but on Super Bowl Sunday this all changed. The is one large bully of a bartender there that has had a attitude mainly towards my friend. The bully bartender called my friend names in front of everyone at the bar and was very rude to me as well. When we went to pay our tab we decided not to tip the bully since he was so rude. We went out to our cars where then we were approached by this angry bully who proceeded to verbally attack my friend and call her names. I came to my friends defense and after he told us not to come back we walked back in and asked to speak to the owner. The bully was screaming at us and told us to get out and he was going to call the police on us and we would get a dui. Really, that is the kind of bartender you want working for your establishment??? What makes things worse is he came at 2 WOMEN and we are both over 50! I did speak to the owner that next day after and told him we would not be back unless he fires the big bully. The owner seemed to be very concerned and told me he would investigate what happened and would call me back. My friend actually went back to Rookies to talk to the owner face to face and got really no satisfaction from their conversation.The owner also never returned my call as well. So as a result of the whole situation and no resolution from the owner we and over 80 or more of our friends and family will no longer EVER return to Rookies. Any owner who lets a big bully continue to work for him and treat customers like this is no place I would ever return. We have talked to several of the people that also work and still go to Rookies and they also told us that the big bully has had attitude with alot of people there and we are not the only ones that won't be back because of this jerk!! Rookies, not a place to go if you want good customer care from a bully bartender of if you think the owner would have done the right thing to keep his good customers!

Not impressed. They ran out of the beer I was drinking after one glass, and didn't have a replacement keg. It was perfectly appropriate that the burgers are all hockey themed -- the hamburger could have doubled as a hockey puck. The waitress was surly. This was our first time there. One reviewer mentioned "cheap." It was normal bar cost -- not expensive, but not cheap. There are a lot of restaurants to enjoy in St. Charles, and no reason to return to a disappointing experience.
